CHALLENGE

Validate Havainanas' place in UK and European street style with an activation in urban areas in Milan, Paris and London.

UNORTHODOX APPROACH

We translated the iconic brand's Brazilian way of life, in a way that connected and resonated with local city cultures, where city dwellers could 'Break the Rush' with the world's original flip-flop brand.

We came prepared for one of Milan's hottest weekends by designing custom-made hand fans 🥵

CRAFT AND COLLABORATION

Our purpose-built environmental spaces immersed guests in music, food and product customisation experiences. The latter played a huge role in our kiosk as younger generations brought their flip-flops to be adorned with charms and personal initials.

The Parisian mode de vie 🇫🇷 Sit by the canal, enjoy some food, have a dance.
Curatorial experts NTS are our longtime collaborators, finding relevant acts for each city's music community.
Inspired by the newsstands that dot our cities, we designed a transferrable kiosk to act as our multi-purpose meeting point, as well as Havaianas-inspired street furniture.

RELEVANCY

Partnering with tastemakers to create content for TikTok and Instagram in each city, we effortlessly validated Havaianas' place in urban streetwear and Y2K style.

Credit to NTS for curating tunes so good that people danced through the London summer rain.
Locals brought their own flip-flops to the kiosk, customised them to their personal taste, and then enjoyed some local cuisine.
